I absolutely adore Stella Brie's work! It's smart and sexy, with plots that keep you on your toes right until the very end. The Killian Blade series is one of my favorites, particularly if you're looking for a harem of assorted paranormals.
Let's get into the interview.
1. Tell us about yourself.
I live outside of Nashville, TN with my husband. Besides writing, I love to travel and have been to 38 out of 50 states, plus six countries. I'm constantly planning my next book and trip. Other than that, you can usually find me hunting for new wineries or breweries, volunteering at the shelter, or reading a book.
2. How did you get into writing romance? Was it something you always wanted to do?
I've always been a huge reader—easily clocking five books a week even with a demanding career. In January 2020, I hit a crossroad. After twenty years in digital and tech, I was burnt out and looking to take a break. Do something different for a year. I mentioned writing a book but my husband pointed out the small fact that I'd never written anything other than powerpoint decks or requirement specs. ;-) He challenged me to write a paragraph first. It took me six months, but I wrote my first book—My Salvation—a contemporary why choose standalone! Instead of going back to digital, I followed the muse in my head and wrote my first paranormal (why choose) series—The Killian Blade Series.
3. Tell us about your latest release!
I might have stepped out of tech, but I remain fascinated by it. We're on the verge of significant change and it's so exciting right now. So, I took my love of tech and why choose and wrote a why choose tech thriller (with an HEA, of course.) The duet is complete and available on Amazon. Savage Traitor (1) and Savage Ruin (2)
4. What else are you working on in 2022?
My next two books are spin-offs! Lucifer (from The Killian Blade Series) is getting his own book—Wicked Savior. It will be my first MF paranormal. What can I say—he didn't want to share?! Cruz, Raider, Zane, and Sterling (from The Savages Series) are getting their own book. A fast paced, why choose mission to Mexico where they meet their beautiful, but deadly, FMC.
5. What are you reading right now?
I just finished Unbreak Me by Reese Rivers. It was fantastic. Since I'm not allowed to procrastinate, err read, when I'm in the final stages of writing a book, my TBR is incredibly full right now which makes me do the happy dance!
The Savages Series
Murder, Theft, Betrayal
Disappearing into alias after alias to elude an obsessive stalker, Henley Davis has become an expert at hiding. When her mentor is murdered, she’s tempted to fall into old habits and run, but the need for justice burns white hot. Using her formidable tech skills, she follows the trail left by the killers straight into the heart of Savage Enterprises, Inc. (SEI)
The Santos men—Thiago, Mateo, and Grayson—run SEI, a conglomerate synonymous with the latest in security and technology. Called The Savages by their enemies, they are brilliant, powerful men, shrouded in mystery but known for ruthlessly destroying anyone who stands against them.
When one of their own is shot, the Santos men launch a full-scale hunt for the attacker. Instead of finding answers, they discover a twisted path of misinformation, suspicious allies, a slew of unanswered questions and a woman… or is it three women?
This is a action-packed, slow burn, why choose, contemporary reverse harem. 18+ years of age due to mature content. Contains violence, stalking, and other potential triggers. Please take care of you!
