5 DAYS TO GO: THE (NOT) CURSED DRAGON

Only five days until The (Not) Cursed Dragon is released! I’m so excited for you guys to read this duet — it’s been a joy to write even though it’s my darkest story yet, and I really hope you enjoy it. Here’s a little teaser featuring a certain quiet, brooding water dragon…

When I woke again, it was still early. The room had lightened enough that I could just make out the dark silhouettes of the furniture. The moment I shifted, Oren startled awake, his fingers flexing tightly around my upper arm and over my knee where he was holding me.

I tilted my head back so I could look up at him. His blue eyes looked even paler than usual in contrast to the dark room. I reached up, tracing his high cheekbones, straight nose, sharp jaw. There was something unapproachable about Oren. He was always so still, so silent, he didn’t seem like he’d bleed red like the rest of us.

He was untouchable, yet here I was touching him. Without saying a word, the look in his eyes told me I could always touch him. He’d never deny himself to me.

“I’m not going to lie, this book was not at all what I was expecting and I love the author for that. This is so different from her other works but still sucked me in and held me hostage until the last page- and even further, I mean, I finished this days ago and I AM STILL HAVING SO MANY FEELINGS RIGHT NOW. ”
